Summer is the Perfect Time for Yoga

I know you’re busy! Summer is busy. There are more parties, more trips, more covering for coworkers while they’re on vacation, more evenings spent outside, more sports, and fun events. I get it! AND Summer is the Perfect Time to Practice Yoga.

There are so many fun things to do, but that’s why you need yoga too!

Hear me out.

Yoga will refocus your attention, give you a new perspective, and create peace of mind and ease in your body so you show up better for all those summer-y things.

☀️Spending time on your yoga mat allows you to focus on your body and breath in the present moment. This releases stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, and it helps you find solutions to your challenges quicker.

☀️Yoga literally turns you upside-down, giving you a new perspective on the problem you’re facing – like your busy schedule. It refocuses your attention! Then, you find a creative solution.

☀️Your yoga practice gives you time for yourself, which allows you to decompress. This creates peace of mind and ease in your body, and then you show up better for everything else in your life.

After you practice yoga or meditation, you show up better for everything else in your life.

Our theme for July is “I am proud of myself.” Get out your journal today and write about:

What am I proud of myself for today?

It doesn’t have to be big, but it can. Just start writing and see what shows up on your list. You just might surprise yourself.

Then pause and ask yourself, “When do I have time today to get on my yoga mat?” You’re resourceful. You didn’t get where you are today by making excuses and procrastinating.

You’re a high achiever, so I know you can figure this out, too. In fact, there’s a 13-minute yoga class or an 8-minute meditation that you could probably squeeze in right now!

Still stuck? Reach out to me. I’m here to help you make this your yoga home. You deserve to feel better today.
