December is usually a swirl of activity, but as the year draws to a close, I make it a priority to slow down. I intentionally carve out time at the end of the month to pause, reflect on the journey behind me, and begin to dream about what’s next. This gentle ritual has become an anchor and one I encourage you to try for yourself. Let this be your chance of finding peace this month through reflection, rest, and dreaming forward.

This month’s intention: There is peace in this moment.
It’s easy to think peace is something that comes after the to-do list is finished, but what if you could find it right now, exactly as things are? In my own practice, I’ve found that when I choose to settle in, even briefly, it makes it easier to appreciate all that this year has brought and let myself dream about what the new year might hold.
For the rest of this year, I’m giving myself permission to rest and reflect. This means I won’t be teaching live classes for the remainder of December, but you always know where to find me. The suggested class calendar and the On-Demand Library are available any time you want to move, breathe, or pause for a moment of calm.
Journal Prompt:
What are 4 moments from this year are you most grateful for? Focus on what you’ve learned and how you’ve grown because of them.
Let yourself settle into the peace of this moment as you reflect.
P.S. Choosing to pause is a gift you give yourself. However you spend these final days of the year, I hope you find small moments of peace, gratitude, and hope for what lies ahead.
Wishing you a gentle, joyful December. One peaceful moment at a time.
