Why Yoga Matters in the Spring: Part 1

Happy First Day of Spring! 🌱

Although it feels like Winter has settled back in where I am, today is the first day of Spring!! With longer days slowly creeping back, I wanted to chat about something that’s been on my mind lately: yoga and its connection to this rejuvenating season.

Spring Clean Your Practice

Just like how we tackle spring cleaning to refresh our physical space, yoga offers a similar rejuvenation for our minds and bodies. Over the next few weeks, in our weekly email, I’ll be sharing why yoga is so special in the spring:

Let’s start with one of my favorite reasons:

🌱 Renewal and Rejuvenation 🌱

Spring is all about new beginnings and fresh starts. Just as we declutter our homes during spring cleaning, yoga helps us declutter our minds, releasing stagnant energy and making room for new, positive vibes.

That’s why yoga can feel so special right now!

Hop on your mat today – I’m guest teaching in this morning’s Feel Better Yoga Flow class at 9:30 CT. If you can’t join me live, Release and Renew is one of my favorite classes to practice throughout Spring.

As you dust off the cobwebs and clear out the clutter during spring cleaning, take time to dust off your yoga mat, spruce up your at-home yoga space, and practice self-care through yoga this time of year.

If you’re not a member yet, this is the perfect time to join. All month we’re working with the intention: I am growing, changing, and evolving.” So when you show up, you create the space to grow into the person you want to become.

Wishing you a season filled with growth, renewal, and plenty of downward dogs!

See you soon!

P.S. Check back next week as we talk about how the flexibility and growth you gain in your yoga practice reflects the changes of this lovely season.
