Dive Deep into April: Exploring the Harmony of Scuba Diving and Yoga

Spring is here, and with it comes the opportunity to dive deep into new experiences and set new intentions. For the past three weeks, I’ve been preparing to explore the world beneath the waves. I’m learning to scuba dive. This journey has been a beautiful reminder of the harmony between stepping out of my comfort zone as I learn something totally new and the grounding practice of yoga.

I didn’t pick our intention this month (✨ I am clever, courageous, and caring. ✨ ) because of my own journey, but, wow, has it come in handy for me!

Scuba Diving and Yoga

Just as scuba diving requires courage and mindfulness, so does consistently showing up for our yoga practices.

Each breath underwater is a form of meditation, much like the mindful breathing we practice on the mat.

Both practices encourage us to be present, to feel the rhythm of our breath, and to connect with our inner selves.
